A single-component, anaerobically curing retaining compound for cylindrical assemblies, especially where high strength with resistance to elevated temperatures is required.

For bonding locating pins in heat exchanger assemblies, bushings in pump housings, and bearings in automotive transmissions—particularly when resistance to high temperatures up to 232 °C (450 °F) is needed—LOCTITE 620 is a good choice. This high-strength, anaerobic retaining compound prevents loosening due to shock and vibration. It cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and can fill gaps from 0.15 mm to 0.25 mm (0.006" to 0.01").
